In addition to my clinical work, I provide consulting services on issues of psychotherapy practice, both inpatient and outpatient. My background has provided me with unique experience and training that I can put to work for you or your organization.
I was a member of both the clinical and administrative staff for more than 10 years in hospital behavioral health programs in Los Angeles. I was routinely consulted on legal and ethical issues in those environments. Furthermore, I authored training materials on EMTALA and psychiatric patients as well as the protocols for the discharge of homeless mentally ill patients. I have continued to write on issues involving mental health, public policy and law, maintaining a blog devoted to the subject, Box 5150.
